Town, developer agree to settle parking suit; hearing Tues. on town budget

The Town of Davidson has reached a settlement of its lawsuit against the developer of Mooney's Corner over parking requirements at the building next to Town Hall. Commissioners will vote at their meeting Tuesday on the deal, which requires the developer to give the town $10,000 cash and a small piece of land behind Main Street. The board also will hold a public hearing Tuesday night on the proposed $9.9 million budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1.
